We are excited to welcome Jon Garza to the Silpa Companies Board of Advisory.
Jon joins us at a time when cybersecurity is no longer a support function: it is a core business capability. With more than 25 years of global leadership experience across energy, logistics, and manufacturing, Jon has spent his career operating where security, uptime, and business continuity are inseparable.
He has held senior cybersecurity and technology leadership roles at organizations such as PSA BDP, Kodiak Gas Services, Siemens Energy, and Wilsonart. Across these environments, Jon has built and led enterprise security programs responsible for protecting critical infrastructure, industrial systems, global supply chains, and modern cloud platforms (often under strict regulatory and operational constraints).

What sets Jon apart is not only his technical depth, but his ability to align security strategy with real business outcomes. His experience spans IT/OT convergence, Zero Trust architecture, and cyber risk management for complex operational environments, including SCADA, DCS, and EMS systems. He has consistently delivered programs aligned with leading global standards and regulatory frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NERC CIP, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and IEC 62443 all while keeping organizations agile, auditable, and resilient.
Throughout his career, Jon has advised executive leadership teams and boards on how to think about cyber risk as a business risk. His work has led to tangible results: improved audit readiness, stronger security maturity and ratings, reduced cyber insurance exposure, and clearer decision-making at the C-suite and board level. He is widely respected for translating highly technical risk into language executives can act on.
In his current role at PSA BDP, Jon continues to lead security modernization initiatives supporting global logistics operations, cloud transformation, and the secure adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled platforms.
Jon holds the CISSP certification and a Master’s degree in Security Management. More importantly, he brings a practical, operator-first mindset shaped by decades of working in environments where failure is not theoretical: it is operational, financial, and reputational.
As a member of our Board of Advisory, Jon will help guide the evolution of Silpa Companies’ cybersecurity services, ensuring we continue to deliver solutions that are technically rigorous, operationally realistic, and aligned with how modern businesses actually operate.
We are honored to have Jon’s partnership and look forward to the impact his leadership will have on our clients and our broader mission.
